Welcome to the Hölchoko website

A lightweight tool enabling the distribution of the persistence of JPA entities to multiple clients.

Hölchoko is the Hopi's name for the common poorwill, which is the only known bird hibernating; it translates to "the sleeping one"

Getting started

Hölchoko is still in very early stages. Features are still being retrofitted in Hölchoko from the two projects that initiated it all. Sadly, these projects evolved in different ways overtime.

Besides, much effort is also put in challenging design and implementation decisions before features are being back ported. As an example, introspection on your model object graph is being dropped in favor of quering the JPA EntityManager for the information. This isn't speeding up development and hence, release!
